Souters has been appointed by international orthotic giant Ossur to promote a number of projects, including flat head syndrome (plagiocephaly).
The Cheadle consultancy will be working with the
Manchester-headquartered firm in raising awareness of the condition
which effects 1 in 30 babies in the UK.
"We will be taking client case studies to regional media," explained account director Emma Beardsley.
"We have bank of Mums and Dads across the country who are desperately keen to share their stories with other parents. There is a lack of knowledge out there about the condition and the treatments available to parents.
"Unfortunately there is currently no provision for treatment by the NHS so more often than not parents have to fundraise in-order to be able to afford and provide the treatment for their children."
Ossur is one of the companies that has designed such a treatment:
"We have worked with the team at Souters before and have always been very impressed with the results they have generated- they understand what the media wants and have delivered some excellent results for us in the past," added Sherri Lomas form Ossur.
Souters will work with Ossur’s Eindhoven based European marketing team to provide product launch support. It will also copy-write product brochures.
